Roscoe Lee Browne was an American actor and director who is known for his rich voice and dignified bearing. He was well known for his role as Dr. Barnabus Foster on the sitcom The Cosby Show. He also voiced the narrator in the 1995 film, Babe. 

For Disney, he voiced Francis in the 1988 Disney animated feature film, Oliver & Company, Mr. Arrow in the 2002 Disney animated feature film, Treasure Planet, and Clarence Saint-John in The Proud Family episode; "Wedding Bell Blues". He also played Gazenga in The World's Greatest Athlete. He even narrated the vinyl audiobook The Story of Star Wars, based on A New Hope, then simply titled Star Wars.
