"Roughin' It" is the forty-eighth episode of Mickey Mouse.
Mickey's dream of camping the old fashioned way is threatened after Donald shows up in a state-of-the-art RV.
Mickey, Donald and Goofy were in the forest for a camping trip. Mickey was ready to camp the old-fashioned way, but Donald arrived with a recreational vehicle, and Goofy chose the RV over Mickey's way.
Mickey decided to rough it without them, but his activities are always being interrupted by Goofy and Donald's luxurious activities, and they cause Mickey to be constantly attacked by wild animals.
That night, Mickey was trying to sleep, but Donald and Goofy were playing the electric guitar. So, Mickey breaks into the RV's fuse box and turns off the electricity.
Donald catches him and shoves him, before turning the power on to 11, before going back inside. The vehicle goes to life and begins to drive off towards a canyon with Goofy and Donald.
So, Mickey hops on a bear and rides it. He manages to break open the vehicle's ceiling and pulls out Goofy and Donald, before the vehicle falls into the canyon.
Donald and Goofy agree to camp Mickey's way from now on, but Mickey leaves them and checks into a hotel.
- Donald cranking the RV's power voltage all the way up to 11 is a direct reference to the amps that went up to 11 in the 1984 mockumentary film This is Spinal Tap.
