Rowley Jefferson is the deuteragonist of Disney's animated Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series. He is the best friend of Greg Heffley who always assists him in his schemes to try and be more popular.

Personality[]
Rowley is a sweet, yet naive young boy who is usually in a good mood. He lacks the basic understanding that he is considered a loser and a dork by those around him. However, this does not get him down as he is happy with who he is, more so than his friend Greg. He is stuck arrested development and cannot surpass his childlike innocence. He can however become overwhelmed and will overly panic until someone like Greg calms him down. While he has, on occasion, shown a cowardly selfish side, he is an overall nice person who cherishes his friendship with Greg.
Physical appearance[]
Rowley has a rectangular shaped body with a mop of blond hair, and a big mouth with two large visible teeth. His usual attire consists of a blue polo shirt with a white collar, dark blue shorts and matching socks, and white shoes.

- Rowley has been portrayed by two actors prior in live action. First by Robert Capron (2010-2012) and then by Owen Asztalos (2017).
- Capron also voiced Bob in Frankenweenie.
