This article is about the character Ruby from Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure. For other characters, see Ruby (disambiguation).
Ruby is a minor character in Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure, Disney's 2001 sequel to Lady and the Tramp. She is one of the members of the junkyard dogs.
Background[]
Physical Description[]
Ruby is an Afghan Hound who also lives among Buster's gang of junkyard dogs. She is also the only other female dog member besides Angel.
Personality[]
Ruby seems to have a disturbing attraction to Scamp. It may be because she is one of Tramp's past girlfriends, or so she hints. Whether or not this is true is unknown. She even admits to Scamp that she has "a bad case of puppy love," although she may not know what this term actually means. She eventually leaves the junkyard with the other junkyard dogs, minus Buster, and gets adopted by a family.
Trivia[]
- Her "puppy love" may stem from the fact that she likes puppies in general and is just a play on words.
- Her strange behavior towards Scamp may also come from the fact that she lives in the junkyard and doesn't see other dogs very often, especially puppies.
- It is possible that she may want a puppy of her own, or at least a child to care for.
