Ruby Mendel is a supporting character from the Even Stevens television show and subsequent feature film, and is played by Lauren Frost. Ruby is Ren Stevens' best friend. She loves to gossip, usually about school crushes and who's dating who within her school.

While under the spell of a lucky penny (Episode 2x01 - "Starstruck"), Ruby developed a crush on Louis Stevens, and later in the episode, on the boy band BBMak. She also has a fear of apricots.
