"Runaways" is the third episode of Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles.

Synopsis

After a heated argument with Goliath, Brooklyn runs away from the castle and befriends two runaway teenagers. Through a series of events, Brooklyn realizes Goliath was just looking out for him and trying to show him how to be responsible, and the runaways are reunited with their parents.

Goliath's opening monologue: "Gargoyles, like humans, are communal creatures. Our clan gives us lives structure and meaning in a chaotic world. But there are times when every gargoyle finds himself at odds with his clan. How he resolves his struggle, and how the clan members aid him in his quest, determines whether this cherished bond will heal or be lost forever."
