Timon and Pumbaa walk through the snowy Russian streets on their way to visit Pumbaa's Uncle Boaris. Pumbaa tries to prepare Timon to meet his uncle who dances ballet, warning Timon to be nice. Timon reassures his pal that he "exudes niceness", as he removes his layers of warm clothes. As they walk up the stairs to Uncle Boaris' apartment, Timon looks for the instrument he plays, dumping the contents from their suitcase onto the stairs.
Timon leaves Pumbaa's roller skates on the top step, just before Uncle Boaris erupts from the door to hug his nephew, accidentally pinning Timon to the wall with the door. Boaris mistakes Timon for a pair of mufflers to keep his hooves warm. Pumbaa tells his uncle that this is actually his friend. Pumbaa and Boaris squeeze Timon in a large warthog hug, launching Timon into the kitchen, where he discovers caviar. He confuses it for bug larva and begins feasting on it.
In the living room, Boaris tells Pumbaa that because his hooves are not as good as they once were, he will retire after his final show the next night. Timon comes in as they are discussing and eats more caviar. Boaris says that after the celebration he will indulge in a jar of his prized caviar, which Pumbaa reveals to Timon are fish eggs. Disgusted, the meerkat throws the entire bowl on the floor. Boaris slips on the mess and slides out the door, landing on the roller skates and falling down the stairs.
Uncle Boaris is injured so badly by his fall that he must be taken to the Russian hospital. He has broken every bone in his body, and will not be able to perform at his farewell show. Timon promises to take Boaris' place on the stage, but Boaris suggests Pumbaa dance in his uncle's place.
Timon sets out to train Pumbaa in the ballet arts, but Pumbaa flops and destroys a piano. After an hour, he has improved, but due to his weight he breaks through the floor.
At the show, Timon believes Pumbaa is prepared, but because he laced Pumbaa's slippers incorrectly, the warthog hurts himself backstage. To take his place, Timon attempts to play the accordion and tell terrible stand-up comedy. He believes the crowd is cheering for him, until he sees Uncle Boaris onstage in a tutu. Timon flees the stage as Boaris begins his performance. He dances gracefully, but when he almost falls, Timon catches him. Timon and Pumbaa ask how Boaris healed so quickly, to which he replies that his bones are still broken and that he needs to return to the hospital. Then he crumbles to pieces.
