Rusty is an orange monkey wrench (though he looks more like a pipe wrench) who is not very brave and usually worried. He sometimes needs Manny's assistance to get courage. He bonds with Pat, Dusty, and Squeeze.

Rusty is generally a worrywart and a scaredy cat. He's afraid of everything, especially animals. Secretly, Rusty wants to be brave but it will never happen.

Rusty is all orange with white eyes, a jaw and is strong.

- Rusty resembles the Scaredy-shroom from Plants vs. Zombies as they are both cowardly.
- Rusty resembles Fear from Inside Out they are both cowardly.
- Rusty is similar to Lofty since they are a member of the crew and are both a coward, but sometimes give courage.
