Ryloth is a planet from the Star Wars universe, and the home planet of the Twi'leks. The planet was occupied by the Separatists until it was liberated by Cham Syndulla who lead a brave resistance and Mace Windu and his loyal Clone Troopers. After the Clone Wars ended, the Galactic Empire occupied the planet with Cham again fighting to free Ryloth from their tyranny.
After the fall of the Empire, Ryloth regained its independence and became an New Republic planet.

- The Imperial occupation of Ryloth is further explored in Lords of the Sith, a canon novel by Claudia Gray that takes place between Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Rebels. As revealed in the novel, Cham Syndulla's resistance against the empire was crushed by Palpatine and Darth Vader, who personally attacked Ryloth and subjugated it to Imperial rule, eventually leading to Cham's participation alongside his daughter Hera during the events of the second season of Star Wars Rebels.
