Sakaarans are an alien race who work for Ronan the Accuser and for the Grandmaster.

Guardians of the Galaxy
In Guardians of the Galaxy, a group of Sakaarans accompanies Korath, on his journey to Morag. In Morag, they meet Peter Quill, who presented as Star-Lord, Korath said he had never heard of him and would take him with Ronan. Peter gives them the Orb but he uses a distraction from Korath and the Sakaarans and recover the Orb.
Korath and his army of Sakaarans chase him but Peter gets up to Milano and escapes. Later, the Sakaarans accompanying Ronan to Knowhere, where they get the Orb. During the Battle of Xandar, many of Sakaarans are killed in battle by the Nova Corps, the Guardians and the Ravagers.
