Sir Nigel John Demot Neill, KCNZM, OBE, known professionally as Sam Neill, a New Zealand actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, best known for his role as Dr. Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park franchise.
For Disney, he portrayed Colonel Geoffrey Brydon in Disney's Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. He also portrayed "Sir" Richard Martin in Bicentennial Man. In addition, he made a cameo appearance in Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder as an actor portraying Odin.
