Samantha Reed Smith was an American child actress and peace activist from Manchester, Maine, when she wrote a letter to Soviet leader Yuri Andropov concerning about nuclear war, Andropov later wrote a letter back to her contain her invitation, which she accepted. Ever since then, she became America's Youngest Ambassador.
Although Samantha did not appear in any Disney movies, she did host a child-oriented special on the 1984 United States presidential election called "Smith Goes To Washington... Campaign '84" on Disney Channel.
