"Sandblast" is the second segment of the ninety-second episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on July 6, 2015 alongside "Dread the Evil Genie", and is the second segment of the thirty-first episode in the third season.

Plot[]

Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones are searching for the Treasure of Captain Extraordinaire. However, Captain Hook touches the treasure at the same time as Jake and Captain Flynn. Jake decides for them to share the treasure, which Captain Hook and Captain Flynn disagree. So, Jake decides for them to have a contest, and Captain Flynn knows what kind, one that puts wind in their sails.

Jake and his crew then ride Bucky to the Never Land Desert, where Captain Flynn welcomes them to the Never Sands Desert Speedway Challenge. Jake has his Dune Zoomer going up against Captain Flynn's Golden Sand-blaster. Captain Hook then arrives with Desert Lightning and vows to win. Jake, Captain Hook, and Captain Flynn have to complete three full laps around the Speedway track, and they will get help from their own personal pirate pit crews along the way. They must also avoid the Swirling Sandstorm Pit, which has a very strong pull, and anything caught in it would be destroyed. The winner will get the Treasure of Captain Extraordinaire.

The race then begins with Sharky and Bones singing about it. Captain Hook and Captain Flynn struggle to pass each other, and Jake passes them, to the dismay of Captain Hook. He then fires an anchor to bring the Dune Zoomer to a halt before pushing Captain Flynn off the track. Jake calls for Izzy, Cubby, and Skully to get him back on course, and Captain Flynn does the same for Camille. As Captain Hook make his first lap around the track, his crew tweaks the Golden Sand-blaster.

Jake and Captain Flynn then complete their first lap. Captain Hook notices this and attempts to keep his lead. He activates the Buccaneer Bulldozer to hinder Captain Flynn's progress. Jake tells Captain Flynn that the race is supposed to be fun, but Captain Flynn continues to vow revenge on Captain Hook, who then makes his second lap, followed by Jake and Captain Flynn.

Jake soon takes the lead, and Captain Hook sends the Dune Zoomer off the track again. Captain Flynn catches up to Captain Hook again, and the two fight each other's vehicles and soon find themselves heading into the Swirling Sandstorm Pit. Jake manages to rescue them by activating the Dune Zoomer's wings and lowering its ropes for them to grab onto before their vehicles get destroyed by the sandstorm. Captain Hook and Captain Flynn blame each other before Jake sends them across the finish line. Captain Flynn forgot the race was supposed to be fun, but Captain Hook demands the treasure chest to be opened. Jake opens it to reveal a hang glider. He decides to share it with Captain Hook and Captain Flynn, but Captain Hook refuses, shocking Mr. Smee. Captain Hook states that if he can't have all the treasure for himself, he wants nothing.

Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Skully then arrives with his sand sail wagon made out of crackers, which he describes as tasty. Meanwhile, Captain Hook's crew find water, which Tick-Tock Croc appears out of before chasing Captain Hook.
