But as she becomes increasingly frustrated with the incessant annoyances of those around her, a new power emerges within her; the power to generate mysterious purple shockwaves fueled by her rage.
These new-found powers lead Sandra to question her identity, and she begins to believe that she may possess the qualities of a witch. Additionally, she achieves a level of magical proficiency previously unimaginable to her, reaching the pinnacle of her magical potential. To her surprise, she accidentally tests this power on the Easter Bunny, resulting in an unintended transformation.
Throughout the unfolding events, Sandra grapples with her developing powers and the implications they hold for her true nature. The narrative explores her struggles with self-discovery and the consequences of her abilities, as well as the impact they have on those around her.
As Sandra's story progresses, her uncontrollable strength, her communication with animals, her manifestation of purple shockwaves, and her unintentional transformation of the Easter Bunny all contribute to her realization that she has ventured into uncharted magical territory. These experiences shape her perception of herself and her understanding of the world, propelling her into a new chapter of her life filled with wonder, uncertainty, and the quest for further understanding.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Sandra Calvin-Claus was born sometime after the events of The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause in 2009 to Carol Newman-Calvin and Scott Calvin at the North Pole.
Appearances[]
The Santa Clauses[]
Sandra has grown up at the North Pole along side her older brother, Buddy/"Cal". However, being a human child amongst elves has left her with no friends, resulting in Sandra forming close bonds with the animals at the North Pole. She is not happy at the idea of living in the real world when her father announces his plans to retire as Santa Claus.
Sandra, along with her mother and Cal, anxiously await Scott's return one Christmas Eve after he has a near-death experience falling off a roof while making his annual toy delivery.
When Simon Choksi is summoned to the North Pole to interview as a potential Santa successor, Sandra soon befriends his daughter Grace. Both of them go off to the Wobbly Woods to visit La Befana, the Christmas Witch. Thinking the girls have gone missing, Scott and Simon venture to the Wobbly Woods to rescue them after discovering the girls' whereabouts from E.L.F.S. security. They later discover that the girls are safe and sound in La Befana's house and that Sandra has been sneaking off to visit La Befana frequently, as she has felt ignored by her parents and feels that La Befana truly listens to her.
Later, after Simon accepts the job as Santa, Sandra and the rest of her family are sent to live in the real world. She is shocked at how her father looks drastically different south of the Pole, and she refuses to believe he is the same man. However, after some convincing, she realizes that the man is indeed her father, and she and Cal go outside to have a snowball fight.
