Scar Takes the Throne

"Scar Takes the Throne" is an instrumental score heard in the 2019 remake of The Lion King. It is a reimagined version of the classic score "If You Ever Come Back We'll Kill You".

Background[]

The score is heard after Simba is exiled from the Pride Lands after escaping from Shenzi, Kamari, and Azizi where it loops into the scene where Scar tells the Pridelander lionesses that Mufasa and Simba both died during the stampede just as the Hyena Clan arrives to take over the Pride Lands as Scar becomes the king, much to Rafiki's somber.
