"Scare B&B" is the second segment of the first episode of Vampirina. It is premiered on October 1, 2017 alongside "Going Batty".
Plot[]
Vampirina and Oxana finish tidying their room. Oxana has always wanted to run a Scare B&B, short for Bed and Breakfast, like a little hotel in their house. She and Vampirina then sing a song about her wanting to run her own monster motel, and how that dream is coming true. Shortly afterwards, the first guest room is ready, and Oxana and Vampirina post that it's open on the world wide cobweb. Now, they will wait for their first guest to arrive.
It doesn't take long, and Vampirina and Oxana meet up with Boris at the entrance as the first guests are Poppy, Edna, Edgar, who says that they can stay while their house is being painted. Boris tells Oxana that he forget to hell her that he invited the Peeplesons to stay for the night. However, Oxana tells him that the Peeplesons can't stay there overnight because last week, Edna came over for tea and left because she heard the chandelier cough. Vampirina tells them that it will be okay, as Poppy can stay with her in her room, and Boris says that Edna and Edgar can stay in the twin dungeon and new guest room. Oxana likes the idea, as the Hauntleys are used to being humans, and wonders what's the worst that could happen.
Just then, more guests arrive. They introduce themselves as Cosmina and Narcisa. They reveal that they signed up on the world wide cobweb to stay in their guest room. They were so relieved to find a place to stay in Pennsylvania, which they love. Oxana states that the Hauntleys are overbooked. She freaks out over the fact about humans and vampires staying at the same time. Although Vampirina tells her to not give up on her dream, Boris states that not all humans get along with humans as well as the Hauntleys do. The same could be said for Poppy's mother. Plut, the Hauntleys have one room. Vampirina has an idea about vampires and humans not needing to use the room at the same time, since they sleep at different times. Poppy likes the idea.
Cosmina and Narcisa are offer snacks, but they want to go to sleep, as it was a bumpy, batty flight from Romania. Poppy and Vampirina move Poppy and Edgar out of the guest room, as Poppy says that there is a very soapy new soap in the bathroom. They do so just as Cosmina and Narcisa arrive. They see human clothes, but Vampirina says that this is because the room is human themed. As the two are in their bed, Vampirina closes the bed covers just as Edgar arrives to get his video game from his backpack. Narcisa decides to get a quick bite.
While the Peeplesons are eating their lunch, which is carrots, they see a bat. Vampirina then decides to throw flour to block what is going on. Poppy then decides to go with Edgar and Edna to go to the other room until they stop coughing. Narcisa arrives, and is provided with a lizard pop just as Poppy, Edgar, and Edna return. It's later night, and Vampirina tells Narcisa and Cosmina that there's no better way to start their night than with a sightseeing flight around the neighborhood. They then head out of the house just as Edgar and Edna make it to their beds. Poppy decides to sleep by herself, and is told by Vampirina that everything went okay. She can't believe they kept everyone separated all day. Just as Vampirina and Poppy say that they make the best team, they hear Narcisa and Cosmina talking to Edna. Poppy sees that what Edna is wearing is her face mask, which she always wears while she sleeps. Poppy states that it makes Edna look like a monster. Vampirina assumes that she must have gotten her face cream bottle mixed up with Narcisa and Cosmina's.
Oxana then arrives, and Vampirina and Poppy tell her that everything is okay, as Cosmina and Narcisa are friends with Edna. Edna then continues preparing her food as she tells Narcisa and Cosmina that she does yoga every morning. It is later day, and Edna tells the Hauntleys that she was surprised by how much the Peeplesons enjoyed their stay, as it was so normal. Vampirina tells her that Narcisa and Cosmina had to catch their flight home, so Edna will give their recipe for blood sausage another time. As the Peeplesons leave, Poppy decides to hang out with Vampirina. Edna thanks Oxana and Boris for the stay. Vampirina checked online, and says that Narcisa and Cosmina put up a review of the Hauntleys' Scare B&B for everyone in Transylvania to read, and gave it five out of five skeletons. They state that the best part was the other monster who was staying there. Boris says that the Scare B&B is a screaming success. Vampirina and Poppy state that Oxana and their vampire guests have a lot in common, just like them.
