Scarlet Witch is an upcoming American superhero film based on the character of the same name. It serves as a sequel to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It was written by Jac Schaeffer and Megan McDonnell. It is a part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It will be produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Production

On September 13, 2024, it was reported that a standalone Scarlet Witch film was in development, with Jac Schaeffer and Megan McDonnell writing the screenplay and who had previously worked on WandaVision, and Elizabeth Olsen reprising her role as the titular character. The film is eyeing a 2026 release date.
