

Schoolhouse Rock! Rocks is a tribute album based on the Emmy Award-winning animated TV series, Schoolhouse Rock!. It was released by Atlantic Records on April 9, 1996 and contains 15 tracks, the original "Schoolhouse Rocky" theme and covers of 14 songs from the series performed by popular music artists. There was also a promo-only 7" single distributed to promote this album featuring the Man or Astro-man? track and the Pavement track. This single was pressed on yellow vinyl.
Music videos for 4 of the songs from this album were featured at the end of the 25th Anniversary Collection releases of the original Schoolhouse Rock! videos released around the same time as the album (America Rocks' "I'm Just a Bill" by The Folk Implosion was included in Grammar Rock, Grammar Rocks' "Conjunction Junction" by Better Than Ezra was included in Science Rock, Science Rocks' "Electricity, Electricity" by Goodness was included in Multiplication Rock, and Multiplication Rocks' "My Hero, Zero" by The Lemonheads was included in America Rock).
