Trivia[]
- In this episode, Mickey is a sailor, similar to his debut appearance "Steamboat Willie" in 1928.
- Unlike the previous episode featuring the submarine Pluto joins the gang instead of staying with Ludwig staying up on the top.
- This episode is a rare occurrence of Pete apologizing for his actions.
- This marks the third episode to feature the title card being underwater and the second and final appearance of the Clubhouse submarine.
- This episode is possibly a sequel to the Season 3 episode, "Aye, Aye, Captain Mickey".
- When Mickey tells the viewers, "Now let's get down to Mickey Lake", the scene changes by means of a bubble transition similar to those seen in Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants.
- Toodles was summoned an extra time to give Pete a basket full of rubber duckies. This is the second time he helps Pete, the first being "Road Rally".
- This episode was produced in 2012, according to the credits.
- This is the third episode in Season 4 to be in a different animation style.
- Toodles is shown to be capable of doing multiple transformations at once as, when he came to give Pete the basket of rubber duckies, he is shown using his small wheel feature and holding the basket with his claw feature.
Errors/Goofs[]
- Sometimes you can see Mickey without a hat when underwater.
- When Mickey says "Everybody say, Mystery Mouseketool!", the sound can be heard but the mystery mouseketool isn’t chosen until everybody says it.
