- Not to be confused with Kimballum Horriblus, a similar giant green sea serpent that appeared in the Disneyland Paris version of It's a Small World.
The Sea Serpent is a big green serpent that appeared only in the Disneyland version of It's a Small World since 1992.
History[]
In 1992, the Disneyland version of It's a Small World got a major refurbishment to make it similar to the Disneyland Paris version of this boat ride, in which the facade was changed from blue to pastel color, using a new soundtrack composed by John Debney, and modified the welcome room by adding back a curved "Welcome" sign and also adding a giant green sea serpent in that room.
Even though the ride later got another major refurbishment in 2002 by bringing back some original elements from 1966, such as the white-gold color facade and Bobby Hammack's soundtrack, the sea serpent was still retained.
Appearances[]
It's a Small World[]
A toy-like depiction of the giant serpent appears inside the welcome room of Disneyland's It's a Small World. His appearance is somewhat similar to the Kimballum Horriblus in the Disneyland Paris version, except with a different face and not featuring a sailor doll in a rowboat.
It's a Small World Holiday[]
During It's a Small World Holiday since 1997, he was moved to the South Sea/South Pacific room near a Filipina Terno Doll, where he wears a green Santa hat and a Christmas wreath around his neck.
