Secretary of the Interior has many responsibilities, but none is more important than overseeing the National Parks. This rugged outdoorsman loves being in nature; he spends most of his time away from his office in Washington, D.C., visiting the National Forests and Parks and helping to spread his message of conservation.[1]

The Secretary of Interior is first seen being delivered to the Grand Fusel Lodge reopened by Cad Spinner to which Cad approaches Pulaski when guiding the Secretary to the Lodge. Ol' Jammer approaches the two and tells them about Piston Peak's fauna under control while Cad tells Dusty to meet the him as Cad is being promoted. However, Dusty joins on the conversation between Harvey and Winnie instead. The Secretary is later present attending a ceremony about a commemorative plaque to which Pulaski warns Cad about the wildfire increasing at Piston Peak to which he refuses to listen to him and Jammer, much to his corrupt behavior.
Later, the Secretary and Jammer are seen escorting the guests out of the lodge to avoid the wildfire, to which the lodge catches on fire to which while during the fire, Pulaski's pump becomes busted, the Secretary tells Ranger Jammer to find an alternative way to escape to which Jammer tells him that there is no alternative way to escape as the fire is nearing them. He later notices Dusty Crophopper leading the rescue team planning to extinguish the wildfire and rescue the victims.
