Serena Valentino is an American author and writer of fairy tale-inspired webcomics.
For the Disney Press, she has written stories for young adults based on the perspectives of Disney characters, primarily Disney villains.
Her first novel, Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen is based on the Evil Queen, and was released on August 18, 2009. Her second novel is based on the Beast, titled The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty's Prince and was released on July 22, 2014. The third novel in the series, about Ursula titled Poor Unfortunate Soul: A Tale of the Sea Witch, was released July 26, 2016. The fourth novel, Mistress of All Evil: A Tale of the Dark Fairy is about Maleficent, and was released October 3, 2017. Her fifth novel is about Mother Gothel, is called Mother Knows Best: A Tale of the Old Witch, and was released August 7, 2018. The sixth book, The Odd Sisters was released on July 2, 2019.[1] A seventh book starring Cruella De Vil titled Evil Thing will be released July 7, 2020.
