Serena Valentino is an American author and writer of fairy tale-inspired webcomics.
For the Disney Press, she has written stories for young adults based on the perspectives of Disney characters, primarily Disney villains. This book series is reportedly set to be adapted into a Disney+ series titled Book of Enchantments.[1]
Her first novel, Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen is based on the Evil Queen, and was released on August 18, 2009. Her second novel is based on the Beast, titled The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty's Prince and was released on July 22, 2014. The third novel in the series, about Ursula titled Poor Unfortunate Soul: A Tale of the Sea Witch, was released July 26, 2016. The fourth novel, Mistress of All Evil: A Tale of the Dark Fairy is about Maleficent, and was released October 3, 2017. Her fifth novel is about Mother Gothel, is called Mother Knows Best: A Tale of the Old Witch, and was released August 7, 2018.
Book 6 will be released July 2, 2019.[2] Serena is also writing another book focusing on the Odd Sisters, which will be released January 1, 2019.
