Seth Woodbury MacFarlane is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, filmmaker, and singer, who is best known for being the creator of the Fox animated series Family Guy and for being the co-creator of American Dad! and The Cleveland Show and creator of The Orville, for which he also voices many of the shows' various characters. He also voiced Mike the mouse in Universal/Illumination's 2016 comedy Sing and its 2021 sequel.

For Disney, he voiced Jeff McGarland (a parody of himself) in the Phineas and Ferb episode "Nerds of a Feather" and Manotaur in Yin Yang Yo!. He also wrote for the 1990's television series Jungle Cubs and voiced a flea in an episode of The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show.

He is also the older brother of actress, Rachael MacFarlane.

In 2020, he was inducted into the American Television Hall of Fame, alongside Bob Iger.
