Shane Morris is an American screenwriter and producer, best known for his work on the animated films Frozen (2013) and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (2023), as well as the television series Rainbow Rangers (2018–2020).
Career[]
Shane Morris was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and started his career in the radio business in the 1980s. He moved to Florida in 1992 and worked as a home builder for a major national company, building over 400 homes in the Sarasota-Bradenton area from 1998 to 2008. After the housing market crashed, he decided to pursue his passion for voice acting and writing. He attended Northeast Broadcasting School to improve his skills and contacted John Burr, a voice-over coach who also lived in Sarasota. He read several books on the voice-over industry and signed up for Voices, an online marketplace for voice talent.
In 2011, he became a premium member of Voices and started auditioning for various projects. He landed his first major role as a story writer for Frozen, a Disney animated film that became a worldwide phenomenon. He also created the characters of Olaf, the snowman, and Sven, the reindeer. He received a BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film for Frozen in 2014.
In 2018, he created and produced Rainbow Rangers, an animated series for preschoolers that features seven girls with different powers who protect the environment. The show aired on Nick Jr. and was renewed for two seasons. In 2023, he wrote the story for PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, a spin-off film based on the popular children's series PAW Patrol. The film was released by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies and received positive reviews from critics and audiences.

Shane Morris is married to Marcia Morris, a real estate agent, and has two children. He lives in Sarasota, Florida, where he enjoys photography, sailing, fishing, playing guitar, and golfing. He is active on social media and hosts a podcast for the Colson Center, a Christian worldview ministry.
