Shanghaied is a Mickey Mouse short that was released on January 13, 1934.
Synopsis
Mickey and Minnie have been kidnapped by Pete and his pirate crew and must devise a way to escape from confinement and defeat the pirates. Pete kidnaps Mickey and Minnie.

Trivia
- This short is notable for being the first short to have Billy Bletcher as the voice of Pete.
- The basic plot of this short was expanded by Floyd Gottfredson for the Mickey Mouse comic strip storyline "The Captive Castaways".
- The music that plays during Mickey and Pete's duel and during the ending was later used in Thru the Mirror.
- A clip of Mickey and Pete's duel was used for the scene of Goofy pardoning other people while he's watching in the theater in the Disneyland episode "The Goofy Success Story".
