Billy Beagle struggles with the difference between inside and outside voices.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Billy Beagle bringing groceries to his car, greeting people with an extremely loud voice. He sees Mickey helping people and wishes to be able to help people and put a smile on their faces. He decides to visit the Happy Helpers and offer some help. Minnie tries to tell Billy to use his indoor voice when she gets a phone call from a librarian, asking the Happy Helpers for help as her leg is injured. Billy immediately takes off in his blimp, with the Happy Helpers following him.
Billy enters the librarian and speaks really loudly, causing books to topple over. Minnie explains the difference between indoor and outdoor voices, and Billy begins speaking quietly. Minnie then gets a call asking for help at the hospital, and Billy gets there, properly helping people with his indoor voice. However, he accidentally uses his outdoor voice again when he notices babies sleeping the nursery. Minnie and Daisy calm the babies and Billy walks out of the hospital, disappointed that his outdoor voice again messed things up. Minnie reassures him.
Elsewhere, Clarabelle is driving a humongous donut to a competition when she abruptly stops her truck as Pluto chases a squirrel in front of it. The donut begins bouncing around Hot Dog Hills, wreaking havoc. Billy and the Happy Helpers chase after the donut. Billy uses his outdoor voice to warn a flock of ducks to avoid the donut, then uses his indoor voice to calm the ducklings. Billy again uses his outdoor voice to warn the competition, and a worker uses a forklift to safely place the donut on a nearby scale, allowing Clarabelle to win the competition. The episode ends with the competitors and audience eating Clarabelle's giant donut, with Billy satisfied with his usage of indoor voice.
