"Shoom Balla Boom" is the first segment of the sixty-sixth episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on January 22, 2018 alongside "Friend or FoeBot", and is the first segment of the twelfth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
The Rapscallion approaches the Nemesystems stormship. Dalton tells Dashiell Scamp that sneaking onto any Nemesystems starship is a terrible idea, but that starship belongs to Commander Nemex himself. Scamp plans to get his hands on two of his striker bots. Scamp says that thanks to his jump-coat, Nemex won't even know he was on board.
Scamp then teleports into the stormship. After confronting Aggro, he trades his signature toy for two striker bots. Aggro tells Commander Nemex about what happened. When Dalton tries to leave, the stormship pulls the Rapscallion up, and boards with it. Nemex appears, and tells Scamp that Aggro told Nemex that he has something of great value to Nemesystems. Scamp assumes that it is two striker bots, but Aggro says that it is the jump-coat, which Nemex says has great value. Nemex tells Scamp to keep the control bots. Scamp says that that is not a fair trade, and the stormship leaves. Scamp decides to get his jump-coat back, but with help.
In the Zenith, Miles is doing his laser staff practice with M.E.R.C. when Zeno tells him that the Rapscallion is docking with the Zenith. Mission Force One assumes that he's up to no good. Scamp has difficulty controlling the multipod. Scamp tells Mission Force One that his jump-coat was stolen by Commander Nemex. Miles assumes that he did so to teleport into places like locked buildings and vehicles, so he can steal anything he wants. The team can't let that happen. Miles agrees to help Scamp get back his jump-coat, and afterwards, Mission Force One will hand it over to the SpaceGuard, since Scamp causes too much trouble with it. Scamp agrees to the idea. The good news is that his jump-coat has a tracking device. It is in the stormship, which is heading to Planet Conmentum, and that is where Mission Force One will go. The team then performs their signature catchphrase and activates their recruit suits' mission mode.
The Zenith then follows the stormship's coordinates. The stormship then arrives at Conmentum, where Nemex teleports himself and Aggro out of the stormship. Aggro is not used to it. Nemex says that there is something very important inside the lab he sees ahead that he wants. Once he teleports in the lab, he sees the TTA power pack, which supercharges anything it's plugged into. Once he plugs it into his coat, he'll be able to teleport much more than just Nemex and Aggro, like an entire striker bot army. He then decides to head to the Tomorrowland Mission Center.
The Zenith then arrives, and Mission Force One and Scamp quickly meet Nemex and Aggro. Mirandos sees that Nemex stole a power pack Although told by the team to hand it over, Nemex teleports himself and Aggro to the stormship. Everyone then heads back to the Zenith to chase the stormship. While Loretta takes over, Miles decides to take Scamp with him to the stormship to get the jump-coat back. When the Zenith gets close, Blodger activates Invisitech. Miles and Scamp then head into the stormship with a blast pod.
After that, Scamp says that he prefers getting around with his jump-coat. Scamp has a lock on its tracking device, and it's in the hangar. When defense orbs appear, Scamp activates a fog maker before he and Miles hide. Miles says that it works, despite not being as fun as smashing them. Striker bots then appear, and Miles deactivates them with his blast shield. Miles and Scamp then make it to the hangar, where they see an entire squadron of striker bots. With the stormship approaching Earth, it is time for Nemex to begin his plan. He plugs the power pack into his jump-coat. Nemex says that with it, he and Aggro will teleport all of the striker bots to the Tomorrowland Mission Center, which Miles and Scamp hear. Nemex then teleports himself, Aggro, and the striker bots out of the hangar. Scamp admits that it was great how Nemex supercharged the jump-coat.
In the Mission Center, Nemex, Aggro, and the striker bots appear, surprising everyone there. Nemex orders the striker bots to seize the Mission Center in the name of Nemesystems. Lieutenant Luminix appears, and tells the personnel to lock down the Mission Center immediately.
Miles and Scamp decide to take a strikeship to Earth. Since it is automated, Scamp activates its manual mode. Since the vision is blurry, Miles uses his Lazerang as a seatbelt. Nemex notices the strikeship approaching the Mission Center. Scamp and Miles then exit. With Miles' blast shield and laser staff, Miles and Scamp are able to deactivate many striker bots. Nemex and Aggro then teleport themselves to the control room of the Mission Center. Scamp then deactivates the locked door.
As the doors of the Mission Center begin to open, Miles uses his skills to take the jump-coat back and wear it. Miles then teleports himself and all of the striker bots to the Mission Center's hangar. As Nemex leaves, Scamp tells Nemex that if Miles wasn't a hero, he'd make a great villain. Miles tells the striker bots to stay put and wait until the SpaceGuard comes to get them. Scamp thanks Miles, and says that Nemex and Aggro are making a quick getaway. Nemex tells Miles that he hasn't seen the last of them. As they have difficulty flying the strikeship, Scamp says that it was a pleasure doing business with them.
With the rest of Mission Force One at the scene, Miles gives Luminix the jump-coat and the power pack stolen from the TTA. Luminix says that the TTA will lock the coat up where nobody will ever find it, and they will take care of the striker bots Miles left for them in the hangar. The job couldn't have been done without Scamp's unique set of skills. Scamp tells Miles that he has some good skills himself before he and Dalton leave. Blodger assumes that it would be great if Scamp could work for the good guys. Miles assumes that someday, he will, but for now, that is mission accomplished. Nemex says that he'll be trading for his coat, and he and Dalton will be back.
