Seth Voelker, also known as Sidewinder, is a Marvel Comics character who appears as the tertiary antagonist in Captain America: Brave New World, played by Giancarlo Esposito.
He is a dangerous, deadly terrorist. He is an expert marksman and deadly hand to hand combatant. He is the leader of the terrorist group known as the Serpent Society, and is hired by Samuel Sterns to take out Sam Wilson.
Sidewinder was created by Mark Gruenwald, Ralph Macchio and George Perez.
Role in the film[]
Sidewinder is part of the Serpent Society who tracks down Captain America and attempts to shoot him while he is driving but Sam escapes and the two fight. He is tasked to steal adamantium so the Japanese government could frame U.S. president Thaddeus Ross. After failing to kill Captain America, Sidewinder was arrested before giving Wilson information on Stern's plan to ruin Ross' legacy.

- Sidewinder attempts to kill Sam Wilson while he is driving, which mirrors the scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, when the Winter Soldier attempted to kill Nick Fury.
