"Sight for Dinosaur Eyes" is the first segment of the thirteenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hailey's On It!
Synopsis[]
Hailey ditches Scott at a dinosaur show to build a mystery gadget from the Professor.
Plot[]
Hailey finishes one of the most recent items on the list, learning to cut hair. Despite messing up Scott's usual hairstyle, he manages to straighten it out to his usual look, much to Beta's chagrin. Scott points out that every item on the list usually revolves around things that Hailey wants to do as he himself made his own list, most of which the items are near impossible to actually accomplish. Hailey agrees to do "A Day of Scott" with him. Just then, the Professor shows up to give Hailey blueprints to one of her machines, only to realize that she arrived too early. Before she can take it back, the Professor is pulled back to her time, and Hailey decides to build the device.
Six hours pass by and Hailey has nearly completed the device, though she is unsure as to what it is as she needs Lithium Calcide which is found in the desert. Realizing that she forgot that she was going to help Scott, she frantically chooses to take him to Dinosaur Journeys, a cheaply made robot dinosaur theme park. Beta deduces that she chose that place because Lithium Calcide can easily be found nearby in the desert. Upon arriving, Hailey leaves Scott and Beta to "enjoy" the park while she goes into the desert. She finds the material and completes the device, though she does not know what it does. It turns out to be a growth ray and accidentally hits an iguana that grows to massive size.
The iguana attacks the park as Hailey goes to warn Scott and Beta about what happened. Using Becker's knowledge, Hailey and Scott use corndogs to lead the iguana away, while Beta uses the ray to increase his own size to battle the creature. Hailey apologizes for making the day about her instead of Scott and realizes that since the device is her own, she most likely created a reverse feature and manages to shrink both Beta and the iguana to regular size. Scott forgives Hailey and while trying to shrink his mirror accidentally shrinks and destroys the device. Nevertheless, he reveals that they actually managed to cross one item on his list, watch a real kaiju fight.
