"Silent Night" (German: "Stille Nacht") is a popular Christmas carol. The original lyrics, "Stille Nacht", were written in Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria by priest Father Joseph Mohr, and the melody was composed by the Austrian headmaster Franz Xaver Gruber.
This song is featured in various Disney music media, including Silent Night and Other Christmas Carols with the All Mouse Choir.
An instrumental version plays during the ending scene of Old Yeller as well as during the part where Black Beauty spends her last moments with Ginger in Black Beauty.
