Simon Phillip Hugh Callow CBE[1] is an English actor, author, and director, who is known for his work as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the play Amadeus, Gilles André in The Phantom of the Opera, and Henry Palmer in The Rebel. Callow is also known as one of the most prominent gay actors in Britain[2], and has lived with director Daniel Kramer.
For Disney, he voiced Mr. Grasshopper in James and the Giant Peach and portrayed Armand Duquesne III in the Marvel Disney+ series Hawkeye. For Touchstone Pictures, he played Richard Cosway in Jefferson in Paris. For ABC, he played Edwin the Magnificent in Galavant.
