Simu Liu is a Chinese-Canadian actor, writer, stuntman, and filmmaker. He is best known for the role of Jung in the CBC sitcom Kim's Convenience. Liu first got his start working as an extra on Guillermo del Toro's action-sci-fi movie Pacific Rim.
For Disney, he portrayed the titular character Shang-Chi in the 2021 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and will reprise the role in the 2024 Disney+ series Marvel Zombies, the 2025 film Avengers: Doomsday, and the upcoming film Shang-Chi 2. He also voiced Lah Zhima in Star Wars: Visions.
