- This episode originally streamed at DisneyOnDemand on January 2, 2009.
- This is one of the few episodes to have different animation and different character models for seasons 2 and 3.
- Mickey sounds a little different and lower-pitched in this episode, probably because of how Wayne Allwine sounded in this episode. His lower-pitched voice would also be used for all Season 3 episodes, which he managed to record all of his lines for before his death.
- The audio of Donald singing for Toodles would be used in "Goofy's Giant Adventure".
- The tallest castle from "Donald the Frog Prince" reappears in this episode.
- This episode was produced in 2008, according to the credits.
- This is the third time Pete speaks in a high-pitched voice to go with his disguise, this time being with a princess costume. The second time was in "Mickey's Great Clubhouse Hunt" and the first was in "Minnie Red Riding Hood".
Goofs[]
- During the credits, Mickey's line "See ya real soon" plays over the Walt Disney Television Animation logo.
