Sis Weasel is a character from the Splash Mountain attraction in the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.

History

Development

Due to the success of the attraction at Disneyland, the Splash Mountain attraction was later constructed at Walt Disney World. Disney's artist, Suzanne Rattigan, began to create artwork designs for each character in the Critter Cave line-queue section to represent each character for the story of the attraction.

As of 2020, Splash Mountain was announced for closure to be completely reimagined into a Princess and the Frog-themed attraction due to controversy surrounding the film which inspired the attraction. The portrait of Sis Weasel was removed and was replaced with a portrait saying "Thank you for looking out for each other!" and a postcard saying "We are stronger together!".
