Sister Act 3: Kicking the Habit is an upcoming American comedy film and a sequel to Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. It will be released on Disney+.

Production

After a Broad City cameo in 2016, Whoopi expressed doubts about a sequel based on missing cast members, but said she thought it would be fun. On December 7, 2018, it was confirmed that Regina Y. Hicks and Karin Gist would be writing the sequel for Disney+.

In December 2020, it was revealed that Tyler Perry would be producer on the film.

On February 7, 2024, Deadline reported that Sheryl Lee Ralph would be reprising her role as Florence Watson.

Following Maggie Smith's passing on September 27, 2024, Goldberg stated that the script was being readjusted to accommodate story changes.
