Sky Cinema Disney was launched on March 28, 2013 (as Sky Movies Disney) effectively replacing Disney Cinemagic, as part of a multi-year film output deal between the BSkyB and The Walt Disney Company. Sky Cinema Disney marks the first time that Disney has been involved in a co-branded linear movies channel anywhere in the world. New Disney movies are available on Sky Cinema Disney around six months after they have ended their theatrical run.
