"Smack Mania 6: Mongo Vs. Mama's Boy" is the forty-seventh episode of The Proud Family.

Synopsis[]

Mongo the wrestler gets sick of "Proud Snacks" and asks Oscar to defend his title belt. But on his first match against Double-Wide and Hungry Jack (also known as the Country Boys), he gets beaten real hard until he finally starts crying for his momma. This leads to the duo becoming the biggest names in wrestling history.

Plot[]

Oscar films a Proud Snax commercial starring Mongo the champion wrestler and Felix Boulevardez as cast members and Suga Mama and Papi as uninvited witnesses. Midway through filming, Mongo eats an entire bag of the snacks and falls violently ill from it's toxic effects to the point in which he barfs all over Oscar. With Mongo under a month's treatment from Doctor Payne, the wrestler gives Oscar his belt, to which he must defend for an upcoming match tonight. Oscar, however, is no skilled fighter and this, along with a near-death experience from Mongo choking him, causes Oscar to pack his things and bail for the Himalayas with Mr. Chips in tow.

Oscar agrees to let Suga Mama defend Mongo's belt and to have Mr. Chips stay in her guest room, something which Suga Mama definitely does not agree on. Trudy and Penny castigate Oscar for being callous towards his own mother, even though Oscar insists that mothers exist to defend their young. It is only after Mr. Chips loses his trust in Oscar that he finally changes his mind. Donning his Snack Man costume, Oscar races to the arena where he is soon pummeled by the seemingly "handicapped" Country Boys. Calling for Suga Mama, she races into the match and defeats the Country Boys single-handedly. This event also earns Oscar the moniker of "Skinny Dude", based on the initials of his costume, and later on "Mama's Boy" for his wimpy persona.

Back at home, Penny's friends congratulate Suga Mama for winning the match. For some nutty reason, they fail to recognize Oscar as "Mama's Boy", no matter how hard he tries, and Trudy and Penny and Mr. Chips, who are still ashamed at Oscar for letting Suga Mama defend Mongo's belt, refuse to clarify his identity, with Suga Mama reasoning that "some things are better left unsaid." The house is then visited by manager Lance McDougal and his sexy assistant Jasmine. They offer Oscar and Suga Mama a dual partnership as pro wrestlers, promising them to make them the biggest names in wrestling history since "The Rock". A montage of Oscar and Suga Mama winning various matches and an interview with Jay Leno gone askew follow suit.

Oscar approaches Lance with the proposition to replace Suga Mama with Jasmine for the sake of appealing to a younger audience. He breaks the news to his family who protest because the people still love Suga Mama. But he rejects this and replaces suga mama with hot mama jasmine. At the match, Trudy gets jealous and she attacks hot mama, oscar and his monkey and she is escorted off the match by security. Mongo returns and he beats up Oscar, demanding that mongo wants his belt back. When mongo is preparing to jump on oscar, suga mama comes and saves oscar from mongo. Mongo's mom shows up and she beats up oscar and suga mama. At home, Oscar apologizes to suga momma and she accepts this. Thinking everything is back to normal, Trudy comes and she beats up oscar as revenge for letting security take her out the arena.
