"Smoothie Shake-Up" is the first segment of the sixth episode of Ariel. It premiered on June 28, 2024 alongside "Family Picture Day" on Disney+ before making its Disney Jr. and Disney Channel premiere on July 19, 2024.
Plot[]
Ravi makes different smoothies for Ariel, Fernie, Lucia, and Flounder, who like them and thank him for how fast he makes them. Ravi has lots of tentacles that helps him make juice, but they each have a job to do. A fish then arrives with a shellegram, and Ravi states that his brother Revi is tangled up again because his tentacles never work together while doing sea-swirl yoga. Ravi then decides to go untangle Revi and plans to close the juice stand. Ariel and her friends then decide to run the juice stand while Ravi untangles his brother. Ravi tells them to work together to get the job done, while he is gone, just like his tentacles.
Alanna and Ayanna then arrive at the juice counter and are told by Ariel about what's going on. Alanna would like a Sea Foam Float while Ayanna would like a Bubbleberry Bliss. However, Fernie, Lucia, and Flounder are struggling to work together and make a mess. Ariel tells them to be more careful next time. Fernie then makes the Sea Foam Float, although Flounder and Lucia already have the bubbles for the Bubbleberry Bliss. Ariel gives Alanna and Ayanna the smoothies while being reminded about working together.
Ursula later arrives, having heard everything. She decides to have her usual, the Mocha Soca Splash. Ariel and her friends decide to work together while each picking different ingredients. However, the hot spring sauce gets used a little bit too much, but despite this, Ursula likes it and may order it again while not serving it to anyone else. Ariel tells her friends to work together but not on the same thing. Sebastian then arrives, wanting a big order for the palace, costing ten drink orders and twenty drinks. Ariel decides to call out the orders this time around to make sure things are done correctly.
Everyone then goes to work on different things. Eventually, the drinks are ready, and Sebastian arrives just as the others finish the last juice order. However, Fernie starts it despite the lid not being put on, and the juice goes everywhere, including on Sebastian. He then decides with the dessert he has. Ariel decides to close the juice stand. Lucia and Flounder wonder how Ravi does what he does. Fernie states that he has eight tentacles that helps him. This gives Ariel an idea. She and he friends will each stick to their tasks in the juice stand, resulting in no more mix-ups.
Ariel then opens the juice stand again, and she and her friends get all of Sebastian's orders ready so they can be delivered to the palace while singing about how teamwork is fun. Later, with all of the juice orders delivered, King Triton thanks Ariel and her friends for their help. They made them with love and a whole lot of teamwork.
