Synopsis[]
London grinds to a halt because of snow, so the family has some fun; but crisis arises when Dylan and Dolly have to get the whole family ready.
Plot[]
Doug and Delilah prepare to leave for work for the day only to discover that all of London is covered in snow, meaning that they do not have to go to work and that they can stay home for a snow day. Dylan and Dolly are excited at the prospect of playing in the snow with their family, but everything suddenly slows down when Delilah insists on checking on all the puppies first using a small kitty thermostat. Doug also dresses up in his reindeer outfit and begins distributing hats to all of the puppies. Dylan and Dolly realize that it will take a long time to get through all ninety-seven of their brothers and sisters. Doug and Delilah suggest that the two of them help to speed the process along. Thinking that this is a challenge, Dylan and Dolly decide to take half of their siblings and prove that they can prep them better than their parents.
While Doug and Delilah manage to breeze through their prepping, Dylan and Dolly have trouble keeping their end all nice and ready. They quickly realize that their side of puppies are getting hot so they crack open a window, unaware that Dorothy has escaped and has gotten caught up in a snowball. Deepak begins acting rowdy and refuses to get prepped after he is blasted with shampoo and dragged through doggy kibble. The parents win as Deepak was not prepared, nor did he want to be, but Dylan and Dolly refuse to claim defeat and leave off in a huff, until Dylan decides to go back and do a head count. He is horrified to discover Dorothy is gone and he, Dolly, Doug and Delilah head outside to look for her.
Dylan spots her hiding in a snowman and calls for her to come back home, but a snow plow machine is sweeping across the street. Dolly and Delilah hop aboard a sled that gets pulled by Doug and make a daring rescue to get Dorothy. When Dorothy, Dolly and Delilah get caught up in the plow, Doug and Dylan distract and scare the driver away, rescuing everyone. Dylan and Dolly admit that Doug and Delilah know what they are doing and respect their prepping. As soon as they get ready to go sledding, all the snow proceeds to melt into mud. However, this does not stop their enjoyment and the dalmatians, minus Deepak, continue to have fun.
