Snow White's Necklace is a family heirloom that was crafted by the Good King, as a gift to his daughter, Snow White. It was supposed to serve as a reminder to Snow White about how the kingdom is to be run, despite difficult moments such as the Good Queen's passing.
Description[]
Snow White's Necklace is a silver heart-shaped pendant, engraved with the words "Fearless, Fair, Brave, True", reflecting Snow White's enduring legacy. It is worn by Snow White throughout her journey, for the majority of the film.
Role in the film[]
The necklace is first seen in the opening scene of the film, when the Good King gives it to Snow White as a gift as a young girl. He gives it to her to remind her to always stay truthful, brave and true to herself. Following the death of the king and the queen, Snow White keeps the necklace for years and always wears it, even after her father remarries.
Years later, Snow White is still seen wearing the necklace as a servant to her stepmother, the Evil Queen. After Snow White meets the bandit Jonathan, she gives it to him as a reason to return to her after they realise they have fallen in love with each other and he flees the Seven Dwarfs Cottage upon hearing the queen's guards have arrived nearby. Snow White later wears the necklace once again at her wedding to Jonathan, who awakens her with true loves kiss and the queen's demise.
