"Snuff Out the Light" is a song from an early version of The Emperor's New Groove that was deleted when the project was overhauled from the movie's original working title, Kingdom of the Sun. Animation was partially completed and included on the rare documentary, The Sweatbox, and the track itself was kept for the soundtrack release of the final film. It mentions a potion of eternal youth, like in "Feel Like a Million" from Kronk's New Groove.
It is sung by Yzma and a trio of mummy sidekicks named for aging musicians - Mick, Bowie, and Lemmy, as she plots to unleash the forces of the dark spirit Supai to destroy the sun.
