"So Fluffy" is the first segment of the fifty-seventh episode of the Disney Channel animated series Kiff.
Synopsis[]
Kiff and her friends record the hottest new song in Table Town.
Plot[]
In her mansion's home theater, Candle screens her music video "Backpack" for Kiff, Barry, Trevor, and Reggie. She asks them for their thoughts on the video, but they end up being more interested in the fact that the mansion has a recording studio. Candle shows her friends around the recording studio, and while goofing off in the studio, the children are inspired to try to make a hit song.
Little Louis arrives at the mansion in his helicopter to pick up Roy Fox for the flight Roy chartered to Ottoman Flats. Roy, however, is out of the house playing laser tag with his spiders, so the children let Louis inside the mansion to use the bathroom. Afterwards, Louis visits them in the studio to compliment how fluffy the toilet paper in the bathroom is, accidentally interrupting one of their recording sessions. While Reggie is editing Louis' voice out of the song they were recording, Kiff's ears perk up when she hears Louis say "It's so fluffy!" on the playback. She instructs Reggie to slow down Louis saying "so fluffy", which forms the hook for the new song of the same name by the children, who name their band the "Fluffy 5".
"So Fluffy" is released as a single by the Fluffy 5 featuring Little Louis, and it becomes a hit all over Table Town. The song eventually becomes so popular that Glarbin orders the sanitation department to collect all copies of every musical recording ever made before "So Fluffy" and bury "all this inferior music" in the dump. As a result, the song becomes completely omnipresent in Table Town, with even existing songs being re-recorded to sound like "So Fluffy". Meanwhile, a frustrated Helen finds herself unable to compose any new songs, as she is unable to get "So Fluffy" out of her head. This inspires Kiff and Barry, who are also sick of the song, to come up with a plan to end its popularity.
The Fluffy 5 and Little Louis schedule a sold-out concert at the Table Town Auditorium. Kiff and Barry recruit Helen to cast a memory-wiping spell on the attendees as they enter the building to make everyone forget about "So Fluffy" – as well as every other song they have ever heard, so that "we can rebuild society, one song at a time". However, when Helen pulls out a lead pipe, Kiff and Barry realize that Helen's spell involves striking people over the head with the pipe, forcing the duo to intervene and abort the now-exposed plan. Louis laments how the entire situation was caused by his simple comment about toilet paper. Hearing this, the gathered concertgoers are disgusted to learn that the lyrics of "So Fluffy" are actually about toilet paper. Glarbin quickly calls up the sanitation department to stop them from dumping all the collected music, and everyone is relieved to hear that it has not yet been dumped, as the driver of the garbage truck was too busy making a KlipKlop video to "So Fluffy".
Some time later, Table Town has returned to playing music other than "So Fluffy". Helen finally manages to write a new song. Kiff and her friends hang out in the studio, listening to a 24-hour marathon on the radio dedicated to songs not about toilet paper. While the others rock out, Candle once again asks them if they liked her music video, to no response.
