"Song of the South" is the titular song of the 1946 live action film of the same name which was written by Sam Coslow and Arthur Johnston.

It is sung during the opening credits, with a brief reprise being heard at the very end of the film, integrated with the Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah reprise.
