After Sonya learns that Fury was sighted in Moscow, she has her men apprehend him, for questioning. He is brought into her safehouse, and sarcastically wonders whether he is the ghost of Paul Robeson, as the pair greet each other. She dismisses her subordinates so the two can talk more privately.
As Fury scours the building, he questions the sheer abundance of clocks present, and Sonya shares that the tradition began with an old English spymaster, who'd have one placed, following the end of their tenure, and adds she believes she may still have some time present in her field. She offers a drink, though Fury is displeased at the lack of bourbon, and Sonya recollects his role in the destruction of her flat, alongside the rest of the city. She questions his intentions in Moscow, and Fury shares that like her, he is planning to end the Skrull rebellion in its premature phase. Sonya recalls that Fury knew Gravik, the leader of the rebellion personally, but Fury iterates, that he knew him, and she questions whether he feels any responsibility. Fury inquiries Sonya's knowledge of a weapons cache in Kazakhstan, which was raided, and whilst she denies having any information, Fury can tell she's lying. His answer and lack of knowledge on the matter discourages her faith in him, as she observes that Thanos' Snap appears to have changed him mentally. An alliance is offered between the two parties, but Sonya’s doubt’s Fury's abilities against the Skrull rebellion. She advises him to return to S.A.B.E.R., unconvinced that he'll be of help during their upcoming war. Sonya offers to have him escorted to his safe house, but Fury opts to walk instead. Before the pair departs ways, Fury requests she call him, should she recollect anything in regards to what happened in Kazakhstan.
Following Fury's departure, Sonya meets with Derrik to inform him that Skrulls have infiltrated the ranks of major world powers and cited Fury's return from S.A.B.E.R. to Earth as proof. She directs his attention to the displaced bombs, and suspects Vasily Poprishchin is responsible for manufacturing them. Derrik proposes a raid of Poprishchin's art gallery, but Sonya suggests waiting for the arrival of a Skrull rebel, in order to follow them into their hideout.
After Vossoyedineniye Square is bombed by Gravik and his affiliates, a suspect, believed to be a rebel Skrull, under the guise of the Americans Against Russia group member, Martin Wallace, is captured, and bound.
Sonya arrives at a butchers shop, doubling as a torture chamber in which the alleged Skrull is being held. She walks through the kitchen, to unlock the refrigerator door, in which a secret room is imposed, to a group of men torturing the suspect for information. She informs them she's taking over, and hands her phone, with their superior on the other line, dismissing them from duty. Before the group leave, Sonya asks in regards to where the escape hatch is located, and the head torturer points downwards, beneath the captive.
As he leaves, Sonya barricades the door, to be met by threats from captive. In response, Sonya cuts off his finger with a pair of shears, which transforms from human flesh, into that of a Skrull, confirming his alien status.
Sonya prepares a needle containing a biochemical imperative, which raises the body temperature to 160°C, calling the bluff of Brogan, who insists he doesn't care. She injects it into him, and he winces in pain as the effects take hold, and Sonya begins her interrogation. She questions the whereabouts of Gravik’s compound, but Brogan insists Gravik’s operations are kept secret from the other Skrulls. He reveals a machine is being built, to help strengthen them, by a married scientist couple, under the name Dalton.
Sonya is then alerted the sound of gunfire, as the rebel Skrulls arrive to retrieve him from her custody. Sonya knocks him over, and escapes through the hatch, before she can be captured.
Sonya discovers that Fury planted a spyware device, atop of the eye of an owl figurine kept in her base, and she has it removed, and returns to England.
While working in her office, Sonya is surprised to find her phone ring, on a landline she believed to be secure. The caller reveals himself to be Fury, and he questions her on what she knows of a British submarine, called Neptune. Before she chooses to divulge any information, Sonya demands an apology from Nick for the bug he planted, and shares that she named the figurine, after Fury, as it now sports an eye patch. Nick reveals that the Neptune is planning an attack on the UN delegation, because one of Gravik's rebels has infiltrated command. Sonya is unable to assist, as she is dealing with a mole in her own team, who leaked the location of the butcher’s shop, during her interrogation with Brogan, and suspects it to be Derrik. She does however, discloses the name of Neptune's commander, Commodore Robert Fairbanks, and forwards Fury the address.
