One of the posters in this restaurant advertises the Silver Lake Sisters Dottie, Dolly and Ethel Bounds as having had a one-night only performance in the South Seas Club. These three most notably also performed in LA at the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

Coasters from the South Seas Club appear in the dining-establishment memorabilia collection of Jock Lindsey, the aviator to Indiana Jones and a member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. It is also worth noting that the bar further references Rocketeer as having posters from Bigelow's Air Circus which identify Jock Lindsey and historic aviatrix Pancho Barnes as having flown alongside Cliff Secord.
