Inside the Space Port, the planet screen at the front of the station has been changed to reflect the overlay, as well. While viewing the planet, a green "storm" appears over the planet, causing interruptions to the video feed. Static appears, then a blue screen, reminiscent of the Windows Blue Screen of Death, saying "SIGNAL LOST," "SEARCHING..." and "SIGNAL ESTABLISHED".
On the attraction itself, the approach to the lift hill portal takes place in darkness with ominous music. As the score builds, a skeletal nebula creature (nicknamed "Bob" by cast members) begins to take shape in the center of the portal to space. Grabbing the frame, it unleashes a shock of energy and the rockets take off. The creature sees our rockets and begins to pursue us throughout the attraction until we jump through the return portal back to the station, though not before one last jump scare with the creature's face.
Outside on the dome, five projections play, with several Halloween-themed color schemes appearing between these projection shows:
The first projection shows the dome becoming a dull grey and cracks begin forming on it. The dome then collapses, and a green grid appears. Shortly after, the dome is reconstructed.
The second projection shows something pushing on the dome from the inside.
The third projection shows yellow scratch marks appearing on the dome.
The fourth projection shows lightning bolts shooting up the left side of the dome, then the right, the middle, and finally the entire dome itself.
The last projection shows the dome being turned into a radar, with red blotches appearing on the dome, presumably showing activity of the nebula ghosts.
