Spidey (real name Peter Parker) is one of the main protagonists of the Disney Jr. animated series Spidey and his Amazing Friends. This variant of Spider-Man is depicted as a kid who fights crime alongside his friends, Ghost-Spider and Spin. He also teams up with other heroes to defeat evil foes and learn that teamwork is the best way to save the day.
Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
Background[]
A child genius and superhero, Peter works with his friends Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy as Team Spidey, a superhero team dedicated to defending New York. Whilst hanging out with the other members of Team Spidey, Peter works with TRACE-E on WEB-STER, a supercomputer the team uses to detect trouble in the city.
When not fighting bad guys, Peter lives like a normal kid with his Aunt May and ginger cat Bootsie.
Personality and traits[]
As both a civilian and superhero, Peter is shown to be mature for someone his age, as he tends to be responsible, and cares a lot about others. However, he can also be immature at times, and it can lead him to making mistakes, which he eventually learns from. As Spidey, he is brave in the face of danger, and prioritises the lives of people before stopping villains. He saves everyone he can, people, non-humans, animals and even his own enemies.
Aside from being a superhero, Peter has interests in a variety of things related to science, such as technology, fossils and animals.
Powers and abilities[]
- Spider Physiology: Peter possesses the proportionate powers of a spider.
- Superhuman Leaping: Peter can leap much farther than a normal human, easily capable of leaping from one building over a street to the next.
- Superhuman Reflexes: Peter's reflexes are enhanced to react at an accelerated rate. In combination with his Spidey-Sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack.
- Spidey-Sense: Being his most imprint power, Peter possesses the extraordinary ability to sense when danger is about to come before it does; this helps him counter attack the threat before it happens and helps him get ready for what's coming.
- Genius-Level Intellect: Academically gifted, Peter displays an uncanny affinity for science and inventing.
- Dino Gem powers: After Reptil shares his Dino Gem powers with Team Spidey, Spidey is given the ability to shapeshift into a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

- Web-Shooters: Peter created the team's web-shooters, which can shoot web fluids at high pressure and speed.
