"Spidey To the Power of Three" is the first segment of the first episode of Spidey and his Amazing Friends. It premiered on August 6, 2021.
Synopsis[]
Spidey reminds Spin and Ghost-Spider to work as a team to track Rhino.
Plot[]
Peter, Gwen and Miles are hanging out playing video games when Aunt May enters to announce that she is going to the store and will be getting them all ice cream. Peter's favorite is cherry vanilla, Gwen's favorite is chocolate chip, and Miles' favorite is pistachio. As Gwen and Miles go back and forth on their favorite ice cream, Peter gets a message and are needed at Webquarters immediately. The trio, donned in their superhero alter egos as Spidey, Ghost-Spider, and Spin, arrive and learn that Rhino is back robbing banks. Peter attempts to come up with a plan, but Miles and Gwen impatiently are already set to capture the villain.
The trio arrive at the most recent bank to get robbed and noticed two trails, one with rhino prints and one with gold coins. They split up until they come across Rhino who is charging away with bags of gold coins. Peter tries to create a plan, but Miles instead goes in with his invisibility powers while Gwen tries to glid down to catch the villain. They end up colliding and let Rhino get away. Disappointed, Peter cheers them up and tells them that if they are to capture Rhino, they will need to use their powers evenly to capture Rhino effectively and set out to find the villain.
Miles distracts Rhino with his invisibility powers while Peter and Gwen sneak up and take his bag of gold coins. They play keep away with Rhino and lead him to Central Park where the three heroes use their webbing to stop Rhino and wrap him up for the cops to come and get him. The three swing back to Peter's house where Aunt May returns with their ice cream. The three, now having a strong appreciation for working together, decide to try all three flavors at the same time and learn that they like it a lot.
