"Split Decision" is the fifty-sixth episode of Mickey Mouse. It premiered on June 9, 2016.
Synopsis[]
Mickey is forced to wrangle two very different Donalds, one whom is nice and obsessed over giving hugs to everyone, and the other being a violent monster with an unstable temper, after Professor Von Drake's latest invention splits him in half.
Plot[]
In the Hall of Science, Ludwig Von Drake tries to mix two dangerous chemicals, but Mickey and Donald arrive unexpectedly, distracting him enough to cause an explosion. Von Drake asks if they need help, and Mickey explains Donald's out-of-control anger and Daisy threatening to break up with him if he flips out again, which Donald dismisses as a bluff. The professor shows them the Maximizer Relaxifier, a chamber that removes a person's anger and leaves them peaceful and calm. Donald is reluctantly placed inside it and his anger is extracted and placed inside a raw anger tank, which overfills due to how much anger Donald has. Nevertheless, Donald has become mellow, just like Mickey wanted him to be.
Suddenly, a physical manifestation of Donald's anger breaks out of the raw anger tank, much to Mickey and Von Drake's horror. Mickey tells Von Drake to put the two back together but the professor needs to recalibrate the machine. Angry Donald escapes the laboratory, with Happy Donald in tow. Mickey searches for the two Donalds around town (wherein one instance has him finding Von Drake on his lunch break), only to deal with Happy Donald incessantly hugging everyone and Angry Donald destroying everything in his path.
Eventually, all of this culminated into a brawl as a hallucination of Daisy appears before Mickey to say that she is not happy at what he did to her boyfriend. Mickey breaks down in tears for making things worse for Donald and Daisy until he realizes that he needs the two Donalds to think about her. He even tells Angry Donald that Happy Donald is planning to steal Daisy from him, and the former crashes into the latter. Mickey brings them back to the Hall of Science while Von Drake cannot decide which socket (green or blue) to connect to the red plug. Von Drake quickly puts the red plug in the green socket as the two Donalds come in and enter the recalibrated Maximizer Relaxifier. Mickey and Von Drake turn on the machine and the two Donalds become one again.
Mickey is happy that his friend is back to the way he was and as they leave, Donald claims that he feels better already. Unbeknownst to them, Angry Donald is shown on Donald's butt. Von Drake notices the mistake but dismisses it as "close enough" as the episode ends.
